Hints of 80s architectural features hinted at the potential to create a contemporary family home with cool Miami vibes.
Harbour house delivers a home full of character, expressive of the original 80’s architecture with a contemporary take that speaks of its owners.
The design pays homage to the clients' love of colour, organic shapes and light-filled spaces. Terrazzo floors, marble, brass, and colour combine to create sophisticated spaces with personality.
The spiral staircase that acts as the central spine of the three-story home. Original 1980s stained-glass windows were retained and referenced throughout the interiors.
A pragmatic approach when designing this home resulted in luxurious yet playful spaces that don’t compromise on functionality.
Twin side-by-side bathrooms were designed for the four young children of the family. An homage to Miami style shines through in these bathrooms with presence.
